so2 is an extensible open source PHP framework that provides user account management, basic web metrics, user access control, and include-based page templating functions.
Built on PHP and MySQL, so2 is a modular framework that provides both front and back end integration. The framework supports sites operating over multiple subdomains.
so2 is under development. Certain modules are still being developed but the core framework is functional.
Server requirements:
so2 requires PHP 5 (5.2 recommended), MySQL 4, and an Apache web server with mod_rewrite enabled.
User requirements:
The so2 front end requires Mozilla Firefox 2.0, Internet Explorer 6, or any browser that supports Javascript and CSS 2.0. Javascript and CSS are used for AJAX and display/formatting purposes.
The latest version of so2 is Build 0.2 Alpha, Revision 1.
